IMA Datia organized Derma-pedia CME City experts participated in the educational session focused on pediatric skin diseases

A special educational session "Derma-pedia 2025" was organized under the aegis of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Datia, in which a lecture was held focusing on skin disorders found in childhood. This program was organized especially for the dermatologists and pediatricians of the city, in which all the leading experts of both the branches participated.

The keynote speaker of the program was Dr. Dinesh Govil, M.D. Dermatology, Senior Dermatologist of Jhansi, who has special expertise in pediatric skin diseases. Dr. Govil is renowned for clinical dermatology, pediatric skin disorders and refractory skin conditions in the entire Bundelkhand region. He presented cases of interesting and rare diseases based on his extensive experience. His lecture was full of scientific approach, clinical depth and latest treatment methods. The doctors present described his lecture as highly informative and helpful in practice.

Specialist students of the Department of Pediatrics of Government Medical College Datia also participated in this academic session, who described this occasion as highly informative and inspiring.

The program was conducted by IMA Datia President Dr. Prashant Harit and in his welcome speech he said that skin diseases in children are often ignored, whereas if these diseases are identified in the early stages, then complications can be avoided.

Senior doctors Dr. Pradeep Upadhyay and Dr. D.K. Gupta were the special guests on this occasion. Both the experts underlined the need for sensitivity and updated knowledge of doctors towards child skin diseases and praised this initiative of IMA Datia.

The chairperson of the program was Dr. Rajesh Gupta, who while sharing his views said that this type of dialogue and coordination between dermatologists and pediatricians is a strong step towards the overall treatment of children.

At the end of the program, IMA Secretary Dr. K.P. Barathia expressed his gratitude to all the visitors, guests and speakers and assured that IMA Datia will continue to organize such useful and special topic focused programs in future as well.
