One day workshop on tribal pride organized in Indore under the chief hospitality of Cabinet Minister

A one day workshop on tribal pride was organized on 27 February 2025 at Government Holkar (Model, Autonomous) Science College Indore under the chief hospitality of Cabinet Minister Women and Child Development Department Ms. Nirmala Bhuria. The keynote speaker of the program was Vaibhav Surange, All India Youth Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad Center Nagpur. Cabinet Minister Women and Child Development Department Ms. Nirmala Bhuria in her address spoke about the contribution of tribal great heroes and about gender equality in tribal society. She explained in detail about the competence and empowerment of tribal women.

She put forward the idea of ??publishing books and ensuring their availability in digital format to tell the importance of tribal great heroes to the coming generation. Vaibhav Surange said that while describing the contribution of freedom fighters Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Tantya Bhil, Rani Durgavati and other great heroes to the country, he described the lifestyle and living habits of the tribal society as exemplary for the society in today's era. Explaining the role of women in the program, 25 Utkarsh women were honored by the Cabinet Minister.

After this, a project on traditional tribes of Holkar Science College was discussed.

Principal Government Holkar Science College Dr. Anamika Jain, Administrative Officer Dr. Nagesh Dagwankar and other college staff were present in the program.
