Match fixing in Legend 90 Cricket League, betting market hot, banned betting apps being promoted

The Legend 90 Cricket League is witnessing matches between national and international cricket players at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. But this tournament has come under the spotlight for betting. Betting apps are being promoted openly in it. The Legend 90 League is under the scanner for match fixing.

7 teams namely Chhattisgarh Warriors, Big Boys, Dubai Giants, Delhi Royals, Rajasthan King, Haryana Gladiators and Gujarat Samprami have participated in this tournament.

Famous players from India and abroad are included in this league. Chris Gayle, David Warner, Dinesh Karthik, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, Moin Ali, Aaron Finch, Matthew, Wade, Thisara Perera, Robin Uthappa, Shaun Marsh, Martin Guptill, Jadhav etc. are prominently included.

If sources are to be believed, the result of the match is decided even before the match starts and the owners of both the teams heat up the betting market by making an agreement among themselves. Betting brands are also being openly promoted in Legend 90 which are banned by the Government of India. Surprisingly, there are reports of Bollywood stars like Urvashi Rautela, Tamanna Bhatia also joining this league.
