Borgaon Manju: A two-year-old child of Pardhi community died after coming under the wheels of a bus at Borgaon Manju bus station. Borgaon Manju police sources said that today at 11 am, Darwa depot's Wadki to Akola bus MH 40 Y 56 29 reached Borgaon Manju bus station and the passengers boarded the bus.
After the bus started, a two-year-old child named Gajanan Kishan Pawar came under the front wheel on the left side of the driver, the driver could not see anything on the left side, the child came under the left wheel due to being small
After the screams, the bus driver stopped the bus, the front wheel of the bus had passed over the boy's thigh and stomach part.
Driver Rahul Rokde got down and immediately picked up the boy, the boy's mother was present inside the bus station, the driver himself took both of them to the district general hospital.
The child died at 4 pm while being admitted to the high vigilance department. After the accident, police inspector Gopal and his colleagues reached the bus station and after preparing the Panchnama, took the bus into custody. ST Corporation officials from Akola divisional office came there and provided financial help to the child's mother. People of the Pardhi community beg at the bus station.
Some passengers said that passengers give alms to small children, so the children go to the passengers and beg.
Borgaon Manju Police has registered a crime in this case and is investigating further.
