Collector inspected the summer hostel late in the evening

Jhabua Collector Neha Meena inspected the perennial hostel operated in the Government New Girls English Medium (Secondary Level) Ashram late in the evening.

To run a total of 24 hostels/ashram schools identified in the district for 12 months (in summer), residential facilities are being provided smoothly during summer vacation in the institutions.

On the first day of the perennial hostel operated in the Government New Girls English Medium (Secondary Level) Ashram, the Collector welcomed the girls residing in the hostel during summer with a flower garland and presented them gifts. The Collector said that in all the hostels operated during summer, along with studies, other activities like art and craft, craft based on 3R under waste management and other activities should be taught. Along with this, instructions were given to organize inter-hostel competition among the perennial hostels. During the inspection of the hostel, the collector instructed to install coolers in all the perennial hostels in case of extreme heat and asked to operate the coolers carefully. He said that the health of all the girls residing in the hostel should be tested. During the inspection, instructions were given to install new mesh if the mesh of the washroom was broken.

The collector had food with the girls to inspect the quality of food. Along with this, instructions were given to give sketch books and coloring pens to the girls. The collector encouraged the girls to read stories and poems.

During this, Assistant Collector Ashish Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Tribal Welfare Department Mrs. Nisha Mehra, Assistant Director Tribal Welfare Department Jagdish Sisodia, Block Education Officer Jhabua and others were present.
