Collector held a meeting regarding Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh and Aakanksha Haat. Aakanksha Haat will be organized in Ajeevika Bhawan from 28 July to 2 August.

Instructions were given to prepare proposals for the facility of maternity waiting home in aspirational blocks.

NITI Aayog had run Sampoornata Abhiyan from July 2024 to September 2024 in aspirational districts and aspirational blocks, the objective of which was to achieve saturation in 6 major indicators in aspirational districts and blocks. Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh will be organized on 2 August 2025 and Aakanksha Haat will be organized between 28 July 2025 to 2 August 2025 with the aim of recognizing and honoring the achievements achieved under Sampoornata Abhiyan last year. A meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Collector Neha Meena regarding the preparations for Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh and Aakanksha Haat. In the meeting, the collector directed to honour the staff working for saturation of 6 major indicators in aspiring blocks through certificates and mementos. In the meeting, instructions were given to organize “Aakanksha Haat” in Aajeevika Bhawan from 28th July to 2nd August. In Aakanksha Haat, in addition to organic farming products in the district, products manufactured by the sisters of Aajeevika Mission, various products of Horticulture Department, health desks were also directed to be set up. Instructions were also given to display the efforts made in the aspiring blocks of the district in Aakanksha Haat.

In the meeting, with the aim of reducing maternal mortality rate, infant mortality rate, NMR, proposals were made for the facility of maternity waiting home under health and nutrition indicators in aspiring blocks and directed to send it to NITI Aayog. The facility of maternity waiting home is especially for women with high risk pregnancy and women living at a long distance from health facilities, in which they will be able to come and stay some time before the expected delivery date so that there is no problem in institutional delivery. Instructions were given to send the above proposals from all the aspiring blocks of the district to the Niti Aayog. During this, Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Mr. Jitendra Singh Chauhan, Chief Medical and Health Officer Mr. B.S. Baghel, District Program Officer Women and Child Development Department Mr. R.S. Baghel, Deputy Director Agriculture Department Mr. N.S. Rawat, District Statistical Officer Mrs. Helen Vasunia and other officers and employees were present.
