Preparations for Republic Day celebrations begin, meeting held under the chairmanship of Collector

Indore. Republic Day celebrations will be celebrated with full enthusiasm and dignity on 26 January in Indore, the cleanest city of the country. The main function will be held at Nehru Stadium on 26 January. Extensive preparations for organizing the function have begun. A meeting was held in the meeting hall of AICTSL under the chairmanship of Collector Ashish Singh to finalize the preparations for the function.

Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shivam Verma, Additional Police Commissioner Amit Singh, District Panchayat CEO Siddharth Jain, Smart City CEO Divyank Singh, Additional Collector Roshan Rai and other departmental officers were present in the meeting. In the meeting, Collector Ashish Singh directed that all preparations should be done within the stipulated time frame in accordance with the dignity of Republic Day. All officers should complete the assigned responsibilities with full seriousness.

No stone should be left unturned in the event. He assigned department-wise responsibilities for various arrangements of the event. He directed that all departments should do the assigned tasks with full seriousness. All preparations for organizing the function should be in accordance with the dignity of the national festival. It was told in the meeting that parade will be presented by various platoons in the main function.

More than 13 picturesque tableaux based on the schemes, programs and achievements of the state government will also be taken out by various departments. Picturesque tableaux will be taken out by departments like District Panchayat, Municipal Corporation, Indore Development Authority, Industry, Jail, Women and Child Development, Tribal Welfare, Social Justice, Forest, Education, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture etc. Attractive decorations will be done at the function venue. Freedom fighters and democracy fighters will also be honored. Along with this, certificates will also be given to officers and employees who have done excellent work. Colourful cultural programs will be presented by various school students in the function.
