It should be ensured that the city residents get pure and sufficient drinking water regularly. In case of any problem in drinking water distribution, immediate resolution should also be ensured. Along with this, it should be ensured that sewer related problems are also resolved within 24 hours. The concerned officers should regularly review the drinking water distribution in their respective areas. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sangh Priya gave these instructions on Saturday while reviewing the drinking water distribution system and sewer maintenance works. In the departmental review meeting held at Bal Bhavan, along with the departmental officers, the contractors working for sewer and drinking water distribution were also called to the meeting and given necessary guidelines. During the review of drinking water distribution, the Municipal Commissioner has told the officials that the system of daily distribution of drinking water to the city residents has been started. Under this system, it should be ensured that the common people get drinking water daily in all the wards. In areas where there is any problem in drinking water distribution, it should be fixed promptly and drinking water distribution should be ensured.

Supply through tankers only where necessary:

The Municipal Commissioner has also directed the departmental officers that tankers should be deployed only in those wards where it is necessary to deploy tankers for drinking water transportation in view of the summer season. The departmental officers should also monitor the distribution of drinking water through tankers. He also directed that in view of the summer season, the drinking water stalls started in the city should also continue to distribute drinking water to the common people smoothly. There should not be any kind of problem in this.
