OPERATION MILAP 03 MISSING CHILDREN RESCUED SAFELY FROM NASIK, MAHARASHTRA AND RE-UNITED WITH THEIR PARENTS BY THE TEAM OF PS SADAR BAZAR

• THE CHILDREN WERE GOING TO MUMBAI TO MEET BOLLYWOOD ACTOR SALMAN KHAN THROUGH THEIR ONLINE FRIEND, RESIDENT OF JALNA, MAHARASHTRA.
• THE CHILDREN WERE RESCUED FROM NASIK RAILWAY STATION WITH THE HELP OF TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE AND INTERSTATE POLICE COORDINATION.
 
INCIDENT:
On 25.07.2025, one Smt. A r/o Kasab Pura, Delhi came to Police Station Sadar Bazar and reported missing of her two minor sons namely “A”, age 13 years and “B”, age 09 years, both studying in a school of Sadar Bazar. Further, on the same day, another person namely Sultan r/o Motia Khan, Delhi came to PS Sadar Bazar and reported that his minor son namely “C”, age 11 years, studying in the same school, also went missing with above said missing boys. Immediately, a case vide FIR No. 782/25 u/s 137(2) BNS was registered at PS Sadar Bazar and the investigation was taken up accordingly. 
 
TEAMS:
In view of seriousness of the case, two dedicated teams were constituted under the leadership of Inspr. Sahdev Singh Tomar, SHO/PS Sadar Bazar and guidance of Ms. Vidushi Kaushik, ACP/Sub-Division, Sadar Bazar, Delhi. First Team: led by SI Akash Deep (I/C PP Ahata Kidara), comprising HC Mohit, HC Pardeep Dagar, Ct Naveen and Second Team: led by SI Ramakant, comprising ASI Surender Negi and HC Sanjay. 
 
INVESTIGATION & SEARCH OPERATION: 
During investigation, it was revealed that one of the missing children had left a written note in his house that they intended to meet one boy Wahid (Mobile No. 932654-III-I-IX), resident of Jalna, Maharashtra. One of the boys namely ‘A’ was also carrying mobile phone with him, but it was found switched off. Further, with the analysis of footage of CCTV cameras in the vicinity of the area and technical surveillance, it was revealed that the missing children were moving towards Ajmeri Gate. The police team assessed that the children would board the train for Jalna from New Delhi Railway Station. The police team immediately reached New Delhi Railway Station. After mapping of Train routes to Mumbai and analysis of tower location of mobile phone of missing children, the movement of the missing children was aligned with ‘Sachkhand Express’ train. The police team also boarded in another express train for Mumbai and Co-ordination with Jalna Police and RPF was initiated. The search was conducted at Wahid’s house at Jalna and inside trains, but no fruitful result was obtained. During technical surveillance, it was also revealed that the mobile phone of the missing boy was switched on for few seconds on regular intervals and again it went switched off. By technical surveillance, finally the location of mobile phone of the missing boys was zeroed in at Nasik Railway Station. The police team promptly reached there and successfully rescued the children after extensive search operations.  
 
ENQUIRY: 
During enquiry, all three boys revealed that they had been playing an online international game called “Free Fire” for the past one & half years, through which they came into contact with a boy namely Wahid. Over the time, they developed a friendship and during their conversations, Wahid once told jokingly that he had met Bollywood actor Salman Khan. This sparked excitement among the boys, who then expressed a strong desire to meet the renowned actor. Encouraged by the version of Wahid, they planned to travel Jalna, Maharashtra to meet him with the intention to meet Salman Khan at Mumbai. As per their plan, they boarded Sachkhand Express train. On the way, they contacted Wahid through their mobile phone who informed them that their families and police were searching for them and therefore he could not come to meet them at Jalna Railway Station. Then, they changed their plan and continued traveling and finally de-boarded at Nasik Railway Station, from where they were safely rescued by the police team of PS Sadar Bazar.
 
After following legal proceedings, trio boys have been handed over to their parents under “Operation Milap” and every member of their family took a sigh of relief. They all expressed their heartfelt gratitude and blessings to the staff of PS Sadar Bazar for their prompt action and dedicated efforts.
 
Further legal formalities are under way.
