Inter School Olympiad inaugurated by taking out a rally against drug abuse in Khajrana

This was the first time in the history of Khajrana that such a big rally was taken out by school children against drug abuse. The occasion was the inauguration of Inter School Olympiad by Khajrana Educational and Multipurpose Society. This sports festival was started in an inspiring manner by the school children of Khajrana area by taking out a rally against drug abuse. When the rally was taken out from various colonies and settlements of Khajrana area, the atmosphere reverberated with slogans of de-addiction. About three thousand children from Khajrana schools participated in the program organized at Dargah Naharshah Wali Ground.

 TI from Narcotics Wing of Police Department was present in the program. Radha Jamod Madam, Khajrana Police Station Incharge Manoj Sedhav, Sub Inspector Radheshyam Mishra, Professor Rajiv Sharma, Haji Usman Patel, Haji Iqbal Khan, Qazi Rehan Farooqui, Dr. Rizwan Patel, Abdul Hamid Madani, Syed Wahid Ali, Nasir Shah, Shafi Sheikh, Mahmood Sheikh, social worker, Khajrana Vyapari Association officials and people from the organization were present. The rally was started by Society President Salman Hashmi and all school directors and police administration officials by releasing balloons in the sky. On this occasion, everyone was sworn in against drug abuse. President Salman Hashmi said that in view of the increasing drug abuse in Khajrana, the society decided to make people aware against drug abuse. It is seen that a large number of drug abuses take place in Khajrana, in which even small children are involved in drug abuse.

From time to time, the police administration, social organizations, social workers also keep making people aware about drug abuse. The rally started from Dargah Ground and ended at Dargah Ground via Ali Colony, Khijrabad Colony, Zam Zam Chauraha Main Road. The grandeur of the rally can be estimated from the fact that one end of the rally was not visible from the other end. As far as the eyes could see, there were only children. They were going while shouting slogans against drug abuse, carrying placards written against drug abuse in their hands. Wherever the rally passed, people came out of their houses and welcomed the children and encouraged them. At the end of the rally, society president Salman Hashmi thanked all the guests and also thanked the police administration.
