Journalists were very enthusiastic in the newly formed executive meeting of Gwalior Press Club. For the first time, more than 100 journalists attended the meeting. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of senior journalist Dr Suresh Samrat as the chief guest and Dr Keshav Pandey. Newly appointed President Pradeep Singh Tomar and General Secretary Raj Dubey welcomed all the senior journalists. Treasurer Ramkishan Katare highlighted the activities of the club. It was unanimously decided in the meeting that the membership campaign of the Press Club will run from 15 December to 20 December.
A committee has also been formed for membership, which includes Vinod Sharma Talaiya Wale, Karan Mishra, Nasir Gori, Vinod Sharma, Harpal Singh Chauhan, Rakesh Bharti, Ravi Shekhar, Dharmendra Tomar and Ravi Yadav. Membership will be looked after by treasurer Ramkishan Katare under the guidance of Dr Suresh Samrat. The membership fee has been kept at Rs 500 per annum. It has been decided to fully implement the suggestions given by the journalists.
This year the new team has decided to organize New Year's get-togethers on a grand scale and other events. One hundred journalists will be honored in this event. In the meeting, the chief guest Dr. Suresh Samrat said that change was necessary in the interest of journalists in the Press Club, arbitrary work was being done. Now collective decisions are being taken. This is commendable. Dr. Keshav Pandey, who was presiding, said that the Press Club had become a JV institution of one person. This change has brought a wave of happiness among the journalists.
I will support the new team of the Press Club at every level. A decision will be taken on the implementation of all the suggestions given by senior journalists Nasir Gori, Vinod Sharma, Ravindra Kushwaha, Rakesh Bharti. Responsibility has also been assigned for this conference. President Pradeep Tomar said that the new team will respect all journalists and will take collective decisions by taking everyone along and will leave no stone unturned in providing new heights to Gwalior Press Club. I express my gratitude to the club's management committee who have given me this responsibility. On this occasion, the newly formed executive committee was given a grand welcome. Sanjeev Sikarwar expressed his gratitude in the meeting.
