Seva Bharti will honour 22 eminent personalities of the society....New Delhi.

Seva Bharti, an organisation which runs various service projects in the society, is organising a Seva Samman Samaroh on 14 December. Seva Bharti is a major service project of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh which is engaged in social service since 1979. Seva Bharti is carrying out several service works including education, medical care, self-employment, women's self-reliance, leprosy prevention, care of orphan children and kindergarten. The organisation provides service at various levels in the society through 1 lakh 80 thousand service works across the country.

Many service works done in the society are conducted with the help of many social eminent personalities. To express gratitude towards such service-minded persons, Seva Bharti is organising a Seva Samman Samaroh in Delhi on 14 December. On this occasion, Seva Bharti Delhi State President Ramesh Agarwal said that in this programme, people selected under 9 categories will be honoured.

This includes categories like abandoned children, women empowerment, education and skill development, natural disaster, health, social development and public awareness, employment and capacity development, service work for the helpless and the elderly and assistance in last rites. This year, Jhandewalan Devi Temple will be honoured with Seva Ratna by Seva Bharti. Apart from this, 21 social dignitaries will be awarded Seva Bhushan.

Mr. Subhash Gupta, who has been selected for Seva Ratna, is being given this honour posthumously. Mr. Ramesh Agrawal informed that other people who are being honoured with Seva Bhushan include Mr. Yashpal Gupta, Mr. Vedprakash Vadera, Mr. Tushar Gupta, Magician Samrat Shankar, Mr. Ajay Gupta, Satya Bhushan Jain, Doctor Sanjay Sachdeva, Mr. Sanjay Dutta, Mrs. Seema Gupta, Mr. Saurabh Garg, Sardar Harmanjit Singh, Mr. Bajrang Gupta, Mr. Gopal Verma, Mr. Anoop Chhavchharia and Mrs. Rita Chhavchharia, Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Mr. Sanjeev Mongha, Mr. Subhash Jain, Mrs. Anju Jain, Mrs. Alka Begani and Sardar Narendra Singh Chahal.

Along with this, Petronet LNG Limited and Bhaurao Deoras Seva Nyas have also been selected for Seva Bhushan by Seva Bharti this year. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest at this programme organised at Ambedkar International Centre, Delhi on 14 December. Mr. Alok Kumar Ji, Sar Karyavah Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will be present in the programme as the keynote speaker. The program will be presided over by Jai Bharat Maruti Limited CMD Shri Surendra Arya Ji. Giving information about the program, Seva Bharti Delhi Prant President Ramesh Aggarwal said that Seva Bharti honours the service-minded people of the society every year.
