01 CYBER CRIMINAL ARRESTED FROM RAJASTHAN, IN A SPECIAL DRIVE AGAINST CYBER FRAUDSTERS, BY THE TEAM OF PS CYBER, DWARKA DISTRICT.

 
• ACCUSED DUPED RS. 14.35 LAKH FROM THE ELDERLY LADY, WHERE HE WORKED AS HER CARETAKER.
• 01 MOBILE PHONE RECOVERED. 
• 80 YEARS OLD SENIOR CITIZEN LADY CHEATED BY HER OWN FORMER CARETAKER.
• ACCUSED HAD ENTRED IN THE HOUSE OF ELDERLY LADY GUISING AS A MALE NURSE & THEN DUPED HER OF AROUND RS. 14.35 LAKHS USING HER MOBILE.  
• ACCUSED WAS INVOLVED IN ONLINE GAMBLING RACKET VIA TELEGRAM GROUPS SUCH AS KINGSTAR, ROCKSTAR & KING LUDO BETTING.

Rajiv Malik - SHO PS Cyber taking on the reins of this well-equipped team. Cyber fraudsters are certainly going to feel the heat now. 
A case FIR No. 39/2025, dated 16.07.2025, U/s 306 BNS was registered at Cyber Police Station, Dwarka, Delhi on the complaint of Smt. Manjusha Rani Gupta, an octogenarian resident of Royal Residency, Dwarka. 
The complainant reported that her former caretaker, Deepak Kumar Saini, unauthorisedly accessed her ICICI bank account through her phone and conducted transferred an amount of ?14.35 Lakhs to his own account through Paytm, without her knowledge or consent.
 
MODUS-OPERANDI: -
The accused had been working in the complainant's house since March 2020 and had occasional access to her mobile phone, which he exploited to install financial apps (like Paytm), retrieve OTPs, and conduct illegal transfers between 30th January to 06th June 2025.
 
INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED: -
Immediately upon receipt of the complaint, preliminary enquiry and FIR registration were done. CDRs and CAFs of the accused were obtained and analysed. The bank account statement of the complainant was analysed. Analysis of IP logs, CDRs, bank statements led to accused Deepak Kumar Saini.  
Investigation revealed that accused is involved in an online gambling racket via Telegram groups such as “Kingstar”, “Rockstar”, and “King Ludo Betting”. 
On 31.07.2025, he was interrogated and arrested. The mobile phone used in the crime was recovered and seized as case property. Efforts are on to trace the flow of stolen money and recover proceeds from clubs, hotels, and other suspicious transactions as he disclosed that he has lost almost all the stolen money in gambling and the rest of it was spent in Clubs and Hotels. 
 
TEAM & OPERATION: -
In order to arrest cyber fraudster, under the overall supervision of Sh. Ankit Singh, DCP/Dwarka District and under close supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops and Insp. Rajeev Kumar SHO/PS Cyber Dwarka teams comprising SI Vikas Sangwan, SI Sonam, ASI Ajay Paswan, HC Abhay and HC Sunil of Cyber PS Dwarka District swung into action.
 
The team displayed outstanding technical skills, patience, dedication and procedural accuracy in this sensitive cyber theft case involving an elderly woman. Team acted promptly on the complaint, conducted a multi-layered digital investigation including IP, IMEI, UPI, telecom and banking trail finding investigation.
 
OPERATION: -
The team executed the arrest of the accused Deepak Kumar Saini S/O Prabhu Dyal Saini, R/O Village Chokdi, Tehsil Khandela, Distt Sikar, Rajasthan. The team seized evidence including his mobile phone. The team displayed empathy towards the elderly victim while ensuring evidence integrity are in the process of uncovering a larger criminal network of online gambling operations.
 
PROFILE OF THE ARRESTED ACCUSED PERSONS: -
Deepak Kumar Saini S/O Prabhu Dyal Saini, R/O Village Chokdi, Tehsil Khandela, Distt. Sikar, Rajasthan, aged 31 years.
Qualification- 12th.  
 
RECOVERY: -
One Mobile phone of accused seized, containing relevant evidence and Telegram records
