Karna Kumbh-III concluded on Sunday with the call that the Karna Kayastha community should strengthen the nation by coordinating between tradition and modernity and make itself capable. This two-day program was organized at the Constitution Club in New Delhi.
The topic of the first session of the second day was - Art field and Karna Kayastha. This session was chaired by historian Bhairab Lal Das and conducted by Bibha Lal. The speakers were - painter Ravindra Das, writer Chandana Dutt, technical expert Vijay Babu and editor Mukesh Dutt. The topic of the second session was - Migrant Karna Kayastha: Problems and solutions. This session was chaired by Kumar Kanak Kishore and conducted by KK Karna. The speakers were - Shiv Bhushan Lal, Jivendu Prasad Karna, Madan Chaudhary and Amar Kumar Das. In the third session, Nibha Labh and Alka Das expressed their views on Mithila painting centered on Kohbar.
In Karna Kumbh, a proposal was unanimously passed to install the statues of Dandi Yatri Karobabu and Maithili Dadhichi Bhola Lal Das in Bapu Mandap from the Bihar Government. National President of Karna Kayastha Mahasabha CML Das put forward this proposal, which was approved by National Vice President Sanjeev Sinha and National General Secretary Ashish Neeraj.
In this program, the pillars of Karna Kayastha society Gopeshwar Lal Das (politics), Ashwini Kumar Das (social service), Dhruv Narayan Lal (education), Mithila Chaudhary (politics) and Shambhu Saurabh (lyricist) were honored with Karna Shree Samman. Along with this, Rajiv Ranjan Das (medicine), Sanjay Labh (medicine), Prabuddha Saurabh (literature), Prakash Chandra (shipping), Naveen Chandra (mining), Rajiv Kumar Kanth (education), Manish Ritwik (software), Santosh Kumar Karna (physics), Jyoti Sinha (Mithila painting) and Asha Das (cricket coach) were honored with Karna Achiever Samman.
In the literary session, young poet Prabuddha Saurabh mesmerized everyone by reciting poetry in coordination with KKM National Treasurer Anand Das.
In the cultural session, in coordination with KKM National Secretary Ira Mallik, there was a group presentation of Maithili traditional songs sung on various auspicious occasions. Under the guidance of Ranjit Lal and Himanshu Karna and coordination of Vishakha Prasoon, women walked the ramp wearing clothes decorated with Mithila paintings and made everyone happy. In coordination with Karnataka State President Vikas Lal, Bollywood singer Stuti Sinha delighted the audience by singing songs in Maithili and Hindi.
Former President of KKM Delhi State Anil Das presented the vote of thanks.
