Gulshan Paruthi - Gwalior

Today on 13th December, patient Pritam Pal, age 52 years, resident of Jhadiyan Datia was saved by spleen operation in the surgery department of medical college! The patient had suffered a stomach injury due to 11000 volts of current. On ultrasound, it was found that the patient's spleen had ruptured and his stomach was filled with a lot of blood due to which the patient was having trouble breathing and was experiencing unbearable pain in the stomach.

The patient's blood also reduced from 16 gm to 7 gm. The patient was asked to arrange 4 bottles of blood immediately and preparations for the operation were made immediately, but it was not easy to arrange so much blood so quickly. In such a situation, Dr. Kedar Nath Arya and his team planned to do auto transfusion in which the blood from the patient's stomach is transfused to the patient with a special technique due to which the patient needs less blood transfusion and the patient's life is saved in an emergency.

The patient's life could be saved by removing the ruptured spleen and doing auto transfusion! The team that performed the surgery included Dr. Kedarnath Arya, Dr. Avnish, Dr. Yogiraj, Dr. Diwakar, anesthesia specialist Dr. Divya Gautam, Dr. Vinay Yadav and staff Shivani and Akanksha! Now the patient is completely healthy and out of danger! All fellow doctors congratulated him on the successful surgery!
