New Delhi: Maha Panchayat for Sindh state demand in India was organized in Sindhu Bhawan, New Delhi. This Panchayat was organized under the leadership of famous Sindhi activist Mahesh Kumar Malkani, Kolkata International Coordinator.

Senior social workers of Sindhi community, senior officials of various organizations, and former IAS Raja Ram-Lucknow participated in this Panchayat. The director and organizer of the program was Vijay Israni- Delhi, President of Pragatisheel Sindhi Samaj Samiti.

In this Panchayat, all the Panchayats, organizations, senior officials and members of Shri Jhulelal Sai Temples of Sindhi community expressed their views. On this occasion, the International Convenor of the campaign Mahesh Kumar Miglani Kolkata while addressing the meeting said that the people of Sindhi community who came to India bearing the pain of partition have made their identity on their own.

Mahesh Kumar Malkani further said that the people of Sindhi community have struggled a lot to maintain their cultural heritage, language and national identity. He said that the demand for a separate state is not any kind of partition but to protect Sindhi identity.

Progressive Sindhi Samaj Samiti President Vijay Israni said that Sindhi community was not a part of any other country, but is a part of undivided India. He said that even after making a major contribution to the country's economic system, even today the people of Sindhi community are associated with words like refugee, which is completely wrong constitutionally.

Former IAS Shri Raja Ram (Lucknow) Advisor said that Sindhu state should be established in India. This is the legal right of the Sindhi community on the basis of language and culture.

The people of the society have appealed to the Parliament, President, Prime Minister and Home Minister for the establishment of Sindh State and said that we want our rights while protecting the sovereignty of India. A resolution has been taken to fight for our demands from the Parliament to the streets. The Sindhi community has also been called upon to support this campaign in the Panchayat.

In this organized meeting, Mr. Bharat Vatwani (Senior Vice President, Progressive Sindhi Samaj Samiti), Chief Organizer of the Mission, Mr. Kumar Ramchandani (Gandhidham), Mr. Kishore Griglani (Ahmedabad), Mr. Suresh Kumar, Mr. Govardhan Das, Mr. Om Prakash Kukreja (President, Mayur Vihar), Mr. Gautam Thawani (Secretary Progressive) etc. were present.
