The women police team made the students of Mishil School under Thana Padav area aware about good touch-bad touch and gender based crimes and cyber crimes.

Under the campaign, the women police team made the students of Government Engineering High School, Scheduled Caste and Tribe Girls Hostel Golpadia and Government Secondary School Jalalpur under Thana Padav area aware about crimes related to women and children and cyber crimes.

Gwalior. Date 30.11.2024 - On the instructions of Women and Child Development Department Bhopal, a 15-day special awareness campaign "Hum Honge Kamyaab" is being organized from 25.11.2024 to prevent gender based violence. In this connection, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamveer Singh (Bapuse) and under the guidance of DSP Women Crime Gwalior Smt. Kiran Ahirwar, programs are being organized in coordination with other departments at schools/colleges, coaching institutes and public places located in various police station areas of Gwalior district, and students, women and the general public are being made aware of the "Hum Honge Kamyaab" awareness campaign by giving information about new legal provisions and cyber crimes, good touch-bad touch and helpline.

Today on 30.11.2024, under the "Hum Honge Kamyaab" campaign, for the prevention of gender-based violence, on the instructions of Mahila Thana Incharge Inspector Deepti Tomar, in the program organized at Mishil Higher Secondary School by Sub Inspector Sweety Rajawat Mahila Thana Padav, school children were given detailed information about gender-based crimes like domestic violence, dowry harassment, molestation, rape, eve teasing, drug de-addiction, crimes through social media etc. and were made aware about their prevention. During the program, students were told about the usefulness of Beti Ki Peti and helpline numbers 100, 1090, 1098, 181, District Legal Services Authority, Aalambhan Cell, Counseling Center etc. During the awareness campaign, school children were told about good touch-bad touch and the school students present were advised that if any kind of incident happens with them, they should immediately inform the police and family members, and not hide any incident. In the program, school children were told about gender based crimes through posters. Apart from school children, teachers were also present on this occasion.

Another awareness program was organized in Government Engineering High School under Thana Padav area. In which school girls, children and staff and child development officer participated. In the program, women constable Pinky Rajput, women constable Tara Devi Thana Padav and Anganwadi worker discussed about the problems of women and girls and their problems were resolved appropriately. On this occasion, awareness was created about gender based crimes like domestic violence, dowry harassment, molestation, rape etc. and their prevention. The school children present were told about the importance of "Beti Ki Peti" and along with this, by discussing the crimes against women in the society like domestic violence, child marriage, molestation, child labour etc., information was also given about cyber crime and school children were also informed about good touch-bad touch. During the program, everyone was made aware by giving information about various important helpline numbers 1090, 100, 181 etc. from the security point of view and also about "Beti Ki Peti".

Today on 30.11.2024, Sub Inspector Ankita Bhargava and Lady Constable Shikha Sharma of Janakganj Police Station visited the Scheduled Caste and Tribe Girls Hostel Golpadia Gwalior and under the Hum Honge Kamyaab Pakhwada being run by the Honorable Chief Minister, informed the girls present in the hostel about gender based violence, crimes related to women and girls. Good touch, bad touch, and dial 100, women helpline number, child helpline number were explained and detailed information was given about where and how to complain about any crime when it occurs.

Another awareness program for the prevention of gender-based violence was organized by the station in-charge of Old Cantonment, Sub Inspector Kshama Rajouria in Government Secondary School Jalalpur under Thana Purani Cantonment area. The students present in the program were made aware by giving information about the new legal provisions and cyber crimes, good touch-bad touch and helpline by making them aware about the awareness campaign "Hum Honge Kamyaab". On this occasion, the students present were also made aware about cyber crimes and the importance of "Beti Ki Peti" was told to the school children present.
