Police caught two clever burglars who had stolen from a chartered accountant's office and recovered stolen goods from them

Under the able guidance of CSP University Ms. Hina Khan, SHO Jhasiroad Inspector Mangal Singh Papola deployed a team of police force to solve the theft case of Jhasiroad Police Station in-charge, to solve the crime number 449/24. During the investigation, the police team saw the footage of CCTV cameras around the crime scene and identified the suspects and activated the informer system to trace them.

The police team received information through an informer that the thieves who had stolen from Chetakpuri were standing at Jhasiroad bus stand and were talking about selling the stolen goods. Based on the information, the police team went to Jhasiroad bus stand and saw two suspicious persons standing there matching the description given by the informer. On seeing the police team coming towards them, they tried to run away, but were surrounded and caught by the police team.

On asking the names and addresses of both the arrested suspects, the first one identified himself as a resident of Ghosipura Bahondapur Gwalior and the second one identified himself as a resident of Sixty Foota Road Kumharpura Thatipur Gwalior. When the two arrested suspects were questioned about the theft, they tried to mislead the police team.

When the police team interrogated both the suspects thoroughly, they confessed to having committed theft in a vacant house inside Chetakpuri Gate on the intervening night of 18/19.11.2024 along with their friends. On the identification of the arrested accused, the stolen goods, one LED TV, one desktop, one Lenovo company's inbuilt PC and the motorcycle used in the incident were duly seized from near the thousand bed.

The arrested accused were arrested in case number 449/24 of Police Station Jhasirod. The arrested accused are being questioned about other stolen goods and their accomplices. In the above case, earlier the police has taken a fellow juvenile offender into custody and presented him in the Juvenile Court.

Brief description of the incident:- Complainant Ritesh Mangal resident Dholi Bua Ka Pul Bajariya Lashkar Gwalior reported in the police station that he is a chartered accountant and has an office at 01 Kanav Villa first floor Chetakpuri. On the intervening night of 18/19.11.2024, some unknown thief broke the lock of my office and stole an HP company laptop, a Lenovo company all in one desktop, an HP company desktop, a Dell company desktop, an Akai company TV, a mobile, three-four silver coins, a silver box, three silver gift sets and cash worth about Rs 2500. On the complaint of the complainant, a crime was registered against the thief in police station Jhasirod and investigation was taken up.

Seized goods:- One LED TV, one desktop, one Lenovo company's inbuilt PC and the motorcycle used in the incident.

Commendable role:- In the above action, the role of Police Station Incharge Inspector Mangal Singh Papola, Sub Inspector Prakash Chauhan, PR Devendra Sakhwar, R Shambhu Gurjar, Shubham Chauhan, Shyam Jat, Kamal Rajput, Ramkesh, Munesh, Salman was commendable.
