Shilpa Thapa of Delhi and Ningthoujam Dhamendra Meitei of Manipur will represent India in the World Poomse Taekwondo Championship. This championship will be held in Hong Kong from 30 November to 4 December. Both the players will challenge in the 17th category of Priestly Pair Poomse.
Shilpa told that she is representing the country in the senior category. In which more than a hundred athletes from all over the world are participating. The challenge with them will be very tough. This includes the athlete's skill, accuracy and artistry.
Earlier, Shilpa has won a silver medal in the South Asian Games. At the same time, she has represented India in the 2018 Asian Games. Apart from this, she has been the national champion for the last 10 years. She has represented India in the World University.
