A lecture on the topic "Importance of balanced diet" was organized today at the Family Welfare Center / RCWA Group Center (RCWA) in the Group Center CRPF (GC, CRPF) campus located in Panihar. In which Brahmakumaris Institute's motivational speaker and Rajyoga meditation instructor BK Prahlad Bhai was present as the keynote speaker.

This program was presided over by RCWA President Mrs. Sunita Nigam.

In which Group Center CRPF officers, subordinate officers and families of soldiers and women personnel were present. Along with this, Ayurvedacharya Dr. Vijay Gupta was also present as a special speaker.

Today, the number of diseases is increasing at a much faster rate than the fast food stalls and restaurants are increasing in the country. People are falling ill due to unbalanced diet. Our mind and body are shaped by the food we eat. Food has a 100% effect on our mind. That is why we should take pure, satvik and balanced diet. This view was expressed by Brahmakumaris' motivational speaker and Rajyoga meditation trainer BK Prahlad Bhai while addressing CRPF officers, soldiers and their families at Panihar. Prahlad Bhai said that we have to give up the habit of eating continuously and more than required. Eat only as much as our body requires. A labourer will not need as much food as an office worker, but if you keep eating something or the other while sitting without doing any physical work, then it will not be digested and first obesity and then other diseases will surround you, so eat satvik food with less chilli and spices. Instead of fried food, use sprouted grains, fruits, salads and fiber-rich grains. He further said that salt, sugar, refined flour and refined oil, these four things are harmful for us. Use them as little as possible. Food balances our energy level, so it is important to eat a balanced diet. And it is also important to eat on time.

He further said that whatever we cook at home should be cooked with a happy feeling and positive thinking.

And keep in mind that if you are not happy while cooking and eating food, then that food will not create happiness in your mind even after eating.

Along with this, he also gave some tips to everyone

- Be silent while eating, do not watch TV and do not use mobile, because the mind will be like the feeling with which we eat food.

- Food should contain all the nutrients like protein, carbohydrates, fat, minerals and vitamins.

- Give time to the body to avoid diseases. Do regular yoga and meditation, so that the body remains flexible.

On this occasion, Ayurvedacharya Dr. Vijay Gupta said that we should eat the food prevalent in the climate in which we are born. The stomach is related to the brain, so keep the stomach healthy. It is better if you eat after sunrise and before sunset. After waking up in the morning, sit in squatting position and drink one to one and a half litres of water. After eating food, sit in vajraasan for some time.

Along with this, RCWA President Mrs. Sunita Nigam expressed her views on balanced and sattvik food and thanked everyone.
