INVESTIGATION & TEAM DEPLOYED:
In view of the brutal and blind nature of the crime, a multi-unit joint team was formed under the supervision of Sh. Dalip Singh, ACP/Operations, comprising:

The teams carried out extensive search of CCTV footage near the incident. The team of Special staff comprising SI Munesh, HC Deepram and Ct Satveer provided initial breakthrough by identifying the robbery incident where they located one distant private CCTV camera and on discreet analysis, a suspected scooty was visible doing recce of the victim multiple times, scooty borne suspects pillion wearing light colour clothes approached the victim thereafter a scuffle took place and accused persons fled from the spot.
Thereafter, team of Special staff back and forward tracked the accused to Tanki road Jaitpur and Arpan vihar and the details were promptly shared with other operation teams for quick action.
Tracking both forward and backward routes of the scooty revealed that it had come from the Jaitpur side, moving on the wrong side of the road with a non-functional headlight—a key identifying feature. The scooty was later seen heading towards Ismailpur Border, Faridabad. The accused persons were intentionally taking a longer route on the scooty through small lanes and side streets to mislead the investigation. Moreover, due to the darkness of the night, it was difficult to see both the scooter and the suspects clearly.
HC Kuldeep (ANS) successfully traced the scooty's forward route via Tanki Road. The team worked relentlessly through daylight hours to obtain clearer footage. Finally, at Arpan Vihar, a CCTV camera clearly captured the faces of the suspects.
