Collector Shivam Verma held a meeting with traders and market officials to ensure proper implementation of the Bhavantar Yojana.

The Madhya Pradesh government has implemented a significant scheme for soybean farmers. Registration for farmers under this scheme began on October 3rd. On Saturday, Collector Shivam Verma held a meeting with traders, farmers' association officials, and market officials. Collector Mr. Verma briefed the traders and farmers' associations on the Bhavantar Yojana registration, procurement, and payment of the difference between the model rate and the MSP rate. Regarding farmers' payments, he emphasized the need for online payments. He also discussed the model rate. Collector Mr. Verma has formed various committees to ensure proper implementation of the Bhavantar Yojana. These committees have been assigned responsibilities at different levels. These committees will include staff from the Agriculture and Market departments, as well as revenue officials, for monitoring purposes.

Additional Collector Appointed Nodal Officer

After registration under the Bhavantar Yojana by October 17th, soybean crop sales will be conducted from October 24th to January 15th, 2026. Additional Collector Vijay Panwar Navjeevan has been appointed as the nodal officer for this scheme. Deputy Director of Agriculture C.L. Kevada, Regional Manager of MP Agro J.K. Jain, and Mandi Secretary Ramveer Kirad have been appointed as assistant nodal officers. Deputy Director of Agriculture Mr. Kevada stated that as of 3 pm on Saturday, 4,366 farmers in Indore district had registered under the Bhavantar Yojana.

8 Members Appointed in Committees Formed for Stock Quality

Collector Shivam Verma has appointed Mandi Committees for the district's mandis under the Bhavantar Yojana. The responsibilities of these committees have also been defined. In addition to the Indore, Depalpur, Mhow, and Sanwer Mandi Committees, a district-level Mandi Committee has also been formed. These Mandi Committees will oversee the entire soybean processing process and stock quality.

Cluster Nodal Officers Appointed Center-Wise

For the successful implementation of the Price Difference Scheme, six Cluster Nodal Officers have been appointed per center. Along with these Cluster Nodal Officers, one Registration Center Incharge has also been appointed per registration center. Additionally, a committee consisting of the SDM and the Land Records Superintendent has been formed to oversee the verification of farmer registrations.
