On the initiative of Collector Neha Meena, "Matridhara Abhiyan (Power to Nature from Women Power)" has been started in Jhabua district with the aim of promoting environmental protection and tree plantation with the participation of women. On the auspicious occasion of Sawan Monday, a special plantation program was organized in the temple premises on the theme "Power to Nature from Women Power" under "Matridhara Abhiyan". In which on a religious occasion like Sawan Monday, plants of medicinal and religious importance were planted in the temple premises, which not only connects with faith, but also gives a strong message of environmental protection. In which women planted trees in various temple premises like the ancient Shiva temple of Dewal, Parshurameshwar temple of Meghnagar Naka, Shiva temple complex of village Khandiakhal. On this occasion, active participation of women was seen, who presented a unique example of coordination between faith and nature by planting plants like Tulsi, Belpatra, Amla, Neem, Peepal. The plants were selected especially keeping in mind their medicinal properties and religious significance. Collector Neha Meena said that planting of religious and medicinal plants on the occasion of Sawan Monday under “Nari Shakti to Prakriti Shakti” under “Matridhara Abhiyan” is an inspirational step towards empowering both nature and society. She said that planting of medicinal plants promotes Ayurveda and naturopathy, more number of people are inspired by being in a religious place, participation of Nari Shakti becomes an example of social consciousness and collective responsibility, the message of collective efforts for nature conservation is conveyed. By planting plants in the temple premises, the message was also given that religious places should be connected with nature, so that along with spiritual energy, environmental balance is also maintained. In the programme, various women's organisations such as Shri Parashurameshwar Ramayan Mandal Meghnagar Naka, Mahashakti Mahila Mandal Ranapur, Rani Laxmibai Complex Organisation Bamnia, Amar Jyoti Mahila Sangh Kakanwani, CLF Group in Khawasa of Thandla Block and a large number of sisters from Ajeevika Mission planted saplings.
