Morena blast case: Missing woman found in debris after 13 hours, 3 dead, many critical

Morena: A massive blast took place in Rathore Colony of the city on Monday-Tuesday night. 2 women died in this blast while 4 to 5 people are reported to be injured. The blast was so terrible that 3 nearby houses collapsed completely. More than 6 people sleeping inside these houses were buried under the debris. Some of the rescued injured have been referred to Gwalior from the district hospital for treatment. At present, it has not been revealed how the blasts happened. The rescue team has found the body of missing woman Vaijanti. Which has been taken out and sent to the mortuary. At the same time, the search for missing Vimala Kushwaha is on.

3 houses collapsed in the blast

Let us tell you that this massive explosion took place in Rathore Colony located in Kotwali police station area late at night. The explosion was so strong that not only the people of the colony but also the people around woke up, after which when people came out of their houses, smoke was seen everywhere. When the dust and smoke reduced, a horrifying scene was in front. The houses of Munshi Rathore, Basudev Rathore and Rakesh Rathore living in the colony were completely destroyed. Along with this, the three houses behind them were also damaged.

The injured were referred to Gwalior

The local people informed the Kotwali police station about the incident. The Kotwali police and the Municipal Corporation team, which reached the spot, immediately started the process of removing the debris. The process of removing this debris is still going on. At present, the rescue team has taken out 6 people so far. In which 2 women Pooja Kushwaha and Vidya Devi have died. At the same time, Krishna, Somvati, Satyaveer, Shiv and Raju have been seriously injured. After giving first aid in the district hospital, they have been referred to Gwalior. After the blast, Chambal IG, DIG, in-charge collector, SP and other officials reached the spot on Tuesday afternoon and took stock of the incident. They talked to the people. The rescue team, which has been working since 1 am last night, has found the dead body of the third missing woman, Baijanti Kushwaha. She has been taken out and sent to the mortuary. The search for the fourth missing woman is still on. However, some parts of the fourth woman's body are seen buried in the debris, she will also be taken out soon.

SP Sameer Saurav said, "The incident took place at 12 o'clock in the night in Rathore Colony. As soon as the information about the incident was received, I reached the spot with the team. 3 women have died here, whose bodies have been sent for postmortem. Investigation is being done to find out what caused the blast."
