On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamveer Singh (Bapu Se), effective action is being taken to catch vehicle thieves by curbing the incidents of vehicle theft in all the police station areas of the district.
In continuation of the above action, Additional Superintendent of Police City (East/Crime/Traffic) Shri Krishna Lalchandani, IPS has directed the Police Station In-charge Hajira to develop an informer system to disclose the incidents of vehicle theft in the police station area and recover the stolen goods and catch the thieves.
As per the instructions of senior officers, under the able guidance of CSP Maharajpura Inspector Nagendra Singh Sikarwar, a team of police force was deployed by Police Station In-charge Hajira Inspector Shivmangal Singh Sengar to disclose the incidents of vehicle theft in the police station area and catch the vehicle thieves.
The police team developed an informer system to catch the thieves who committed the incidents of vehicle theft in the police station area. On 25.11.2024, on the information of the informer, a vehicle thief riding a motorcycle was caught during vehicle checking at Birla Nagar Chowki. During interrogation, the arrested thief told himself to be a resident of Scindia Park Chandanpura Birla Nagar Hajira.
When the arrested thief was questioned about the Apache motor cycle recovered from him, he admitted to stealing the said motor cycle from Committee Hall Kanchmil on 22.11.2024. When the arrested thief was questioned about other vehicle thefts in the police station area, he admitted to stealing a Discover motor cycle from Birla Nagar on 12.11.2024 under police station Hazira area, a Pulsar motor cycle from INTUC Maidan Hazira on 15.11.2024 and a Splendor motor cycle from Arshiwad Garden under police station Gwalior area on 22.11.2024, totaling 04 motor cycles.
On the identification of the arrested thief, 03 stolen motor cycles and 04 motor cycles including the Apache motor cycle recovered from him, total worth Rs. 2 lakh 20 thousand were duly seized. The thief was arrested in Hazira Police Station crime number- 490/24, 499/24, 510/24 Section 303(2) BNS. A total of 06 crimes are registered against the thief, including 02 previous crimes and the present one.

2- One stolen Pulsar motorcycle MP-07-MZ-6779 of Hazira Police Station crime number 499/24 Section 303(2) BNS
3- One stolen Apache motorcycle MP-30-MP-6020 of Hazira Police Station crime number 510/24 Section 303(2) BNS
4- One stolen Apache motorcycle MP-30-MP-6020 of Gwalior Police Station crime number 617/24 Section 303(2) One stolen Splendor motorcycle MP-07-MJ-7033 of BNS
Commendable role:- In the above action, the role of Police Station Incharge Hajira Inspector Shivmangal Singh Sengar, SI Harendra Singh Bhadoria, ASI Tilak Singh, Head Constable Umakant Sharma, Rai Singh Gurjar, Anil Gupta, Ashok Singh Sikarwar, Karan Chaurasia, Shri Krishna Rathore, Bhanu Pratap Parihar, Sandeep Jat, Rajiv Sharma, R. Driver Jitendra Jadoun was commendable.
