Prabhushan Tribal Day was celebrated by the National Service Scheme unit of Rajasthan Technical University Kota.
Vice Chancellor Professor SK Singh said that the tribal community has a very deep and important contribution to the civilization and culture of our country. The lifestyle, traditions, music, dance, art of the tribal community and their coordination with natural resources have enriched Indian culture. Tribal people live their lives by connecting with nature and play an important role in environmental conservation. The tribal community teaches us that we are all Indians and our strength lies in our unity.
NSS Chief Coordinator Dr. Rajesh Bhatt said that the main objective of organizing Tribal Pride Day is to bring the glorious past of the tribal society in front of the society and to preserve their culture and traditions. The sacrifices made by them for the protection of the nation should be revealed and the society should be aware of it, they should understand the importance of their culture and traditions. He thanked Dr. Shivlal, NSS student volunteers Mukesh Patel, Shrestha Sharma, Shakti Singh Meena, Subhash Meghwal and all others.
NSS Nodal Officer Dr. Pinky Meena made everyone aware of the importance of this program and the culture of tribal society. Dr. Pinky Meena made everyone aware in detail about the lifestyle of tribal people and their connection with nature.
Dr. S. D. Purohit Public Relations Officer Rajasthan Technical University, Kota told Vijay Gaur Bureau Chief that on 24 November 2024, cadets of 14 Rajasthan Battalion NCC celebrated NCC Day with great enthusiasm and zeal at Deoli Arab village. On this occasion, many impressive activities were organized to promote social awareness and community participation. The celebration began with a street play by the cadets, which underlined the importance of cleanliness (swachhta). Later, an awareness rally was taken out in the village, wherein the cadets encouraged the residents to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
Also, the cadets displayed their creativity and commitment by participating in a poster making competition on the theme of cleanliness and social responsibility. The event was attended by Col SGS Shekhar, Sena Medal, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Kota, Col Subhash Mahto, Commanding Officer, 14 Raj Battalion NCC, Kota, Lt Col Sanjay Singh, Administrative Officer, 14 Rajasthan Battalion, Smt Nidhi Pathak, Principal, Government Senior Secondary School, Deoli Arab, NCC Officers, Shri Birdi Lal Goswami, Social Activist, Senior Citizens of the village, 04 Associate NCC Officers, 08 Permanent Instructors and 120 enthusiastic NCC cadets.
The Group Commander while addressing the gathering appreciated the cadets for their active participation and dedication in nation building. He motivated them to continue contributing to the society with the same enthusiasm and commitment. The winners of the poster making competition were felicitated by the Group Commander by giving them prizes. This celebration of NCC Day not only instilled a sense of pride and responsibility among the cadets but also inspired the local community to contribute towards the collective goal of a clean and healthy environment
