Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior Boot Camp on Startup Club organized

“Boot Camp on Startup Club” was organized on 22 November 2024 at Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior. The main objective of this program was to provide information to the students about incubation centers, startups and G.Incube Incubation Center Smart City Gwalior. Also, encouraging them to participate in hackathon competitions under Smart City Gwalior was also a major objective of the program.

The keynote speakers of the program, Mr. Gaurav Shakya and Mr. Pranjal Chaturvedi gave detailed information to the students on innovation, startup process, challenges and opportunities. They inspired the students by sharing their experiences in the field of startups.

On this occasion, the Director of the Institute, Dr. Nishant Joshi said, “This boot camp will give new energy and inspiration to the students towards entrepreneurship. Our aim is that the students not only realize their ideas, but also play their role in realizing the vision of self-reliant India.'' Sharing her views, the Deputy Director of the Institute, Dr. Tarika Singh said, "This program is an excellent opportunity for the students, where they can closely understand the entire process of incubation and startup. This will enable them to prepare themselves better for the challenging roles of the future.'' More than 150 students of BBA first semester participated enthusiastically in this boot camp.

The students understood the various aspects related to startup in depth and received useful suggestions to enhance their innovative thinking. The program was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Navita Nathani. Who told that this boot camp will provide an effective platform for the students. Also, the organizing committee thanked all the participants and guests for the successful organization of the program. The faculty coordinators in this program were Assistant Professor Palash Sharma and Assistant Professor Mayuri Joshi.
