Bhandara on Veerangna Jhalkari Bai Jayanti, Congress leaders garlanded

On the occasion of Veerangna Jhalkari Bai's birth anniversary, under the leadership of Congress MLA from Gwalior East Dr. Satish Sikarwar and City District Congress Committee President Dr. Devendra Sharma, tribute was paid by garlanding her statue in the park located at Akashvani Tiraha. On this occasion, a Bhandara was also organized under the aegis of MLA Dr. Sikarwar, which lasted throughout the day and thousands of citizens took prasadi.

MLA Dr. Sikarwar said in his address, "Jhalkari Bai was a great Dalit woman warrior lost in the pages of history, who showed indomitable courage and bravery in the freedom struggle of 1857. Today's generation should take inspiration from her life and understand the importance of struggle and victory." Mainly state spokesperson Ram Pandey, executive president Chaturbhuj Dhanaulia, MIC member Awadhesh Kaurav, block president Anoop Shivhare, councilor Surendra Sahu, Ankit Kaththal, Sudhir Mandelia, Satendra Nagar, Harendra Verma, Shyam Sundar Nim etc. were present in the program.
