Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), the apex body representing milk producer cooperatives in Karnataka, is proud to announce the launch of its premium range of Nandini liquid milk and curd in the Delhi NCR market. This significant expansion is set to take place on 21st November 2024, in the presence of Shri. Siddaramaiah Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri D.K. Shivakumar Hon’ble Deputy Minister of Karnataka along with Shri K. N. Rajanna Co-operative Minister, Shri K. Venkatesh Minister for Animal Husbandry, Shri.N Cheluvarayaswamy Agricultural minister, Other Cabinet ministers, Shri L.B.P. Bheema Naik the Chairman of KMF, Shri B. Boregowda Chairman of Mandya Milk union and Board of Directors of KMF and Mandya Milk union and the Managing Director of KMF.
KMF, which has been a cornerstone of rural economic and social development for over four decades, is currently the second-largest cooperative dairy in India and the leading cooperative dairy in South India in terms of milk procurement and sales. “Every day, KMF procures 95 lakh Liters of milk and returns 80% of the consumer rupee directly to the farmers – a remarkable achievement in the agricultural sector, where farmers typically receive a much smaller share ‘said Shri L.B.P. With the unwavering support of the Karnataka state government, KMF has transformed the state from a milk-deficit to a milk-surplus region, making Karnataka one of the few perennially surplus states in the country. This growth is largely attributed to the fair and remunerative milk prices paid to producers, which have incentivized rapid dairy development in the state.
KMF is also a significant player in the global dairy market, exporting a range of products including skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, ghee, UHT milk, and other dairy items to over 25 countries, including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the USA. With an annual turnover of over Rs. 25,000 crores, KMF has not only contributed significantly to the rural economy of Karnataka but has also set new benchmarks for the dairy industry in India ‘said Mr. Jagdish M.K-Managing Director-

Taking the success story of Launching liquid milk in the major cities / states namely Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Vidarbha, Goa, Kerala and to cater to the growing demand from loyal consumers across the country, Mr. Raghunandan-Marketing Director- Karnataka Milk Federation said that “KMF is expanding its market presence by launching 4 variety of Nandini liquid milk in Delhi NCR, along with a variety of curds. This move is in line with KMF's ongoing efforts to innovate and introduce new products, ensuring the profitability and sustainability of dairy farming in Karnataka”.
