  • Parking facility was made available about 300 meters away from the temple, where devotees got relief from walking 6-8 kilometers.
  •  Where 50-100 bikes used to be parked, the police got 3000 vehicles parked there.
  •  The policemen themselves cooked and ate rotis and performed their duty for 24 hours by staying in the jungle.
  •  The police personnel were highly praised for their duty.
  • For the first time, no report of pickpocketing or bike theft came.
  • The police fed chocolates and ice cream to the children at the lost persons counter and reunited them with their families.

For the fair to be held in Ratangarh on the second day of Diwali, two and a half months ago, Gwalior Commissioner Mr. Mukesh Khatri, Gwalior IG Arvind Saxena, in the presence of Collector Gwalior Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan, Superintendent of Police Gwalior Mr. Dharmveer Singh (Bapuse), held a meeting of police and administration officials in Ratangarh and directed all the departments to provide resources and build infrastructure. The effect of which was seen when the devotees coming from Behat police station area got the facility to be brought before Khandi Puliya, which is only 300 meters away from the temple. Earlier, in the fair, devotees had to park their vehicles in the parking lot and walk at least 3 km and 12 km away. This time, no more than two kilometers were walked and the facility of quick darshan was provided to the devotees by the police administration.

How was this possible - The parking lot was cleaned and leveled by the temple committee and the vehicle capacity was increased by 10 times. Additional Superintendent of Police (East/Traffic/Crime) Shri Krishna Lalchandani and Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Shri Niranjan Sharma also visited the fair to maintain security and traffic arrangements and beefed up the force. After that, SDOP Behat Shri Santosh Patel and Police Station Incharge Behat Inspector Puran Sharma, Sub-Inspector Suresh Kushwah, Sub-Inspector Shivam Singh Rajawat of Uttila Police Station stayed awake the whole night and arranged vehicles in the parking lot with the help of dragon torch and parking boys, due to which more than 3000 bikes were parked in the parking lot where 50 bikes used to be parked.

SDM Tansen S.K. Tripathi kept the facilities of light, water and announcements running for 48 hours in the parking lot by continuous supervision. This time the devotees praised the work of the police administration. Not a single theft or pickpocketing was reported in the fair that lasted for more than 48 hours, which was an example of the promptness and sensitivity of the police. The police fed chocolates and ice cream to the children at the lost person counter and reunited them with their families.
