In compliance with the instructions of senior officers, under the able guidance of CSP Murar Shri Rajiv Jangla, the police station in-charge Murar Inspector Madan Mohan Malviya deployed the team of police force to recover the stolen vehicles in the police station area and catch the thieves. On 27.10.2024, Murar police received information through an informer that a person is standing at Jaderua Bandha with a stolen Activa. When the team of Murar police station reached the place mentioned by the informer at Jaderua Bandha, a boy matching the description given by the informer was seen standing in the dark with an Activa, wearing black clothes. On seeing the police coming, he tried to run away. The police team surrounded him and caught him. When he was questioned about the Activa, he tried to mislead the police team. After thorough interrogation, the boy wrote a memorandum under section 23(2) of the Indian Evidence Act, in which he told his name to be Naresh Kushwaha alias Sandu son of Narayan Kushwaha, age 24 years, resident of Suraiyapura Murar Gwalior, and told that he had stolen the said Activa from Ghas Mandi Murar about 8-10 days ago. The arrested accused admitted to stealing other vehicles as well in his memo. On checking the said Activa, registration number MP07-SH-1072 recovered from the accused, it was found that the crime number of Murar police station was registered. It was found to be stolen goods in case No. 589/24 Section 303(2) BNS. Which was duly seized from the arrested vehicle thief. The said Activa was stolen by the accused from Madan Mohan Temple Ghas Mandi Murar, on the report of complainant Rohit Pathak, a case was registered against unknown accused in Police Station Murar and investigation was taken up.
During interrogation of the cunning vehicle thief caught by Police Station Murar regarding other stolen vehicles, he told that on 19.10.2024 in the afternoon, a Hero Company's Destiny scooty number MP07-ZB-8719 was stolen from Sadar Bazar Murar, which he has hidden in the bushes of Narcotics Ground near Square Number Seven. On the identification of the accused caught by the police team, the stolen Destiny scooty number MP07-ZB-8719 was recovered which is a case of Murar Police Station Crime No. It was duly confiscated as stolen goods in case no. 585/24 under section 303(2) BNS. The said Destiny scooty was stolen by the accused when the complainant Manish Sharma had gone to buy goods from a shop in Sadar Bazar Murar. On the complaint of the complainant, a case of theft was registered against the unknown accused on 20.10.2024 at police station Murar and investigation was taken up.
On questioning the arrested accused about other stolen vehicles, he found that he had hidden a Bajaj Platina motorcycle in the bushes near Madhapura drain near Shaheed Gate. On information, the police team recovered a blue coloured Bajaj Platina motorcycle number MP30-MB-6290 on the identification of the accused, which was duly confiscated as stolen goods in case no. 597/24 under section 303(2) BNS of police station Murar. On 24.10.2024, the accused stole the said bike from outside the shop of complainant Bhura Shah named Jiya Band located near Shri Talkies.
