DPSRU Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Pharmaceutical

Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) marked India's 77th Republic Day with resounding enthusiasm, patriotic spirit, and a commitment to constitutional values. The vibrant celebration on the university campus brought together students, faculty, staff, and dignitaries to honor the adoption of the Constitution and reinforce ideals of democracy, unity, and national integrity.

The event kicked off with the ceremonial flag hoisting by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. V. Ravichandiran, accompanied by the stirring National Anthem. In his inaugural address, Prof. Ravichandiran inspired the gathering, defining true patriotism as ethical action, responsibility, and dedication to nation-building while urging respect for diversity and constitutional principles.

The program featured compelling speeches, including Mr. Vijay Gaur's eloquent take on moral responsibility and national harmony, alongside insightful contributions from students Vansh Nangia, Om Madhav, and Ronit on youth's role in democracy. Ananya Sharma's address on the Constitution as India's backbone, a unifying patriotic walk, and a collective pledge led by Palak underscored civic duties and sovereignty.

Cultural highlights stole the show: Fitoor (Drama Society) delivered a poignant theatrical portrayal of freedom struggles; Raag (Music Society) enchanted with soulful patriotic melodies; Malang Dance Society energized the crowd with heritage-infused performances; and campus children charmingly depicted national symbols. Poetry recitations by Palak, Lariab, Priyanka Dabas, Dr. Anshul, and Dr. Akash Mehta—coupled with Dr. Akash Middha's Vasant Panchami-freedom linkage and Matansha's heartfelt song—evoked deep emotion.

The event wrapped with felicitations for contributors, leaving all inspired. Conducted with discipline and coordination, the celebration fostered national pride and responsible citizenship across the DPSRU community.
