Police station in-charge Kotwali Inspector R.K. Singh deployed a team of police force to uncover the incidents of vehicle theft in the police station area and catch the vehicle thieves. The police team developed an informer system to catch the thieves who committed the incidents of vehicle theft in the police station area and checked the CCTV footage around the incident site. During the search for the unknown accused of the Jupiter scooty stolen from the police station area on 28.10.2024, the accused identified on the basis of CCTV footage was identified as Imran Khan. Who was being searched by the police team, during the search, information was received through informer that the vehicle thief Imran son Salim Khan, age 30 years, resident of Mewati Mohalla Bahodapur near Badi Masjid, who stole the said scooty, has been seen near Maharaj Bada. On the information, the police team caught the said accused from the place told by the informer and seized the stolen Jupiter scooty from his possession. The vehicle thief caught by the police station Kotwali has been duly arrested and detailed interrogation is being done with him regarding other theft incidents. During interrogation, it was found that the arrested accused is addicted to alcohol and other types of drugs, who consumes drugs with the money earned by selling stolen goods.
It is known that on 02.11.2024, the complainant Naval Singh Yadav resident of Mahavir Colony Tapu Mohalla Dal Bazaar Tiraha Lashkar had filed a report in the police station Kotwali on 28.10.2024 regarding theft of his Jupiter scooty number MP07-SF-2014 parked in front of Paras Electrical Shop Daulatganj by an unknown person. On which the crime of theft was registered against the unknown accused and taken into investigation.
Arrested accused:- Imran son of Salim Khan, age 30 years, resident of Mewati Mohalla Bahodapur, District Gwalior, near Badi Masjid.
Recovered contraband:- Jupiter scooty number MP07-SF-2014
