On the occasion of "Gopashtami Mahaparva", a seminar on "Shodasha Sanskar" was organized today in Indraprastha Delhi by "Adi Shankaracharya Janseva Trust" in Hinglaj Bhavani Temple, Madhu Vihar, Indraprastha Extension. In this program, Shri Bhagwan Das Ji, Family Prabodhan Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Northern Region, attended as the chief guest. In the introductory address of the program, Acharya Shubhesh Sharman, Shri Ram Shakti Peeth Delhi, while giving his views on the importance of the need to fully comply with the marriage ceremony, said that if the marriage ceremony, which is very important among the sixteen rituals, is performed according to the Vedic method, then, doing full good to the society, along with the ritual life, evils like dowry, non-flesh food, alcohol can be avoided.
In the program, the main speaker Acharya Yashpal Shastri Ji elaborated on the sixteen rituals by giving a detailed analysis and inspired the society to adopt the funeral rituals after conception. He described in detail the Vedic social significance of each sanskar. He said that in today's context, by adopting sixteen sanskars, one can live a balanced and best human life in all ways - child development, disease prevention, physical, mental, educational, economical and social. President of Adi Shankaracharya Janseva Trust Deepak Gupta Ji said that sanskars are the basic foundation of complete social harmony in life. Special guest Bhagwan Das Ji inspired about unity of families through a song. Trust officials Mahesh Hingorani, Vinod Singhal, Vasudev Bansal, Deepak Agarwal, Arvind Gupta, Pradeep Garg, Praveen Pathak, Pradhuman, Manish Jain, etc. organized the program with enthusiasm.
