IG Gwalior took crime review meeting of gazetted officers of the district

? Action should be taken to cancel the bail of habitual criminals who came out of jail on bail if they repeat the crime and violate the bail conditions.

? Legal action should be taken against those possessing illegal weapons by curbing the incidents of firing.

? Gazetted officers should go to their subordinate police stations and review the pending serious crimes by holding meetings from time to time and try to resolve them soon.

? Goonda and history sheet files of habitual criminals should be prepared and continuous monitoring should be kept on the functioning of the accused who have come out on bail from jail.

Today in the Police Control Room Auditorium, Inspector General of Police Gwalior Range Gwalior Shri Arvind Saxena, IPS took a review meeting of all the gazetted officers of Gwalior district regarding pending serious crimes and bail cancellation cases. Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamvir Singh, (Bapuse) along with Additional Superintendent of Police (Central) Shri Akhilesh Rainwal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Shri Niranjan Sharma and all CSPs, SDOPs of the district were present in the crime review meeting.

 

In the crime review meeting, Inspector General of Police Gwalior Zone reviewed the three-year comparative data of pending serious crimes and IPC and directed the gazetted police officers present to ensure effective efforts in pending serious crimes and their speedy resolution and said that they should identify such criminals in their respective sections who are coming from other districts and committing crimes in Gwalior. In the meeting, IG Gwalior directed the police officers to open the goonda and history sheet files of habitual criminals. Apart from this, he directed to submit an application to the court for the action of cancellation of bail of habitual criminals who have repeated the crime and violated the bail conditions after coming out of jail on bail. In the meeting, IG Gwalior said that the incidents of firing in the district should be curbed and effective legal action should be taken against those possessing illegal weapons. In the meeting, after the road accidents caused by them, people create a situation like Chakka Jam on the road, due to which the common people have to face a lot of inconvenience. Therefore, effective action should be taken before such a situation arises and effective plans should be made by identifying the accident prone places, so that road accidents can be prevented. IG Gwalior also instructed the police officers to immediately implement the blockade plan effectively in case of a serious incident and said that all gazetted officers should go to their subordinate police stations from time to time and review the pending serious crimes, deaths, missing persons and try to resolve them as soon as possible. He said that the functioning of the accused wanted in property related crimes who have come out of jail should be closely monitored and in the meeting, he instructed the police officers to continuously review the pending complaints of CM Helpline and resolve them within the time limit. IG Gwalior told all the Additional Superintendents of Police present in the meeting that you people should monitor the challenging cases yourself and give necessary instructions to the station in-charges. Effective efforts should be made to resolve family disputes by counselling the people coming to the police stations. He said that molesters and burglars should be identified and action should be taken against them. In the meeting, IG Gwalior directed the police officers to solve the pending murder cases and arrest the accused.
