Pink Marathon Run was organized under Cancer Awareness Month by Subharti Institute of Cancer Management and Research Center of Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. The marathon was inaugurated at General Mohan Singh Sports Ground by Subharti Hospital Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Krishna Murthy and flagged off the marathon. Subharti University Vice Chancellor Major General Dr. G.K. Thapliyal and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Shalya Raj sent their best wishes for the success of the Pink Marathon Run. He said that by creating awareness about cancer in the university, everyone is being made aware of its causes, prevention and prevention. Subharti Hospital Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Krishna Murthy said that Subharti Hospital is working with commitment for the treatment of cancer. He said that in the awareness program through Pink Marathon Run, a message has been given to everyone for prevention of cancer. He told that Cancer Management and Research Institute has been established by setting up a separate campus by Subharti Hospital.
In which cancer patients are being treated and operated with the world's most modern cancer therapy machines. He said that cancer can be treated easily by consulting a doctor in time. Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Director and former Department Head of AIIMS, Subharti Institute of Cancer Management and Research, made everyone aware of the various causes of cancer. He said that awareness is the prevention of cancer. He told that world-class machines like PET CT Scan, Mammography Ultrasound MRI are available in Subharti Cancer Institute of Management and Research, which are helping in identifying cancer and its treatment. He told that in Pink Marathon Run, students of all colleges and departments including Physical Education Department, Dental College, Medical College, Nursing College, Physiotherapy College, carried cancer awareness posters and provided awareness to everyone.
Physical Education Department Head Dr. Sandeep Kumar made everyone aware of health by telling the benefits of exercise and yoga. On this occasion, Dr. Kishore Singh, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dr. Geeta Pravanda, Dr. Jasmine Anandabai, Dr. Abhay Shankargowda, Dr. Sanchit Pradhan, Dr. Manju Adhikari, Dr. Mohanish Muchhal etc. including all the college students, teachers, hospital doctors and other officials were present.
