Infant Rescued And Kidnappers Nabbed Within 24 Hours.

           The team of Mandir Marg police station has swiftly resolved the kidnapping of a two-month-old infant who was abducted from Gole Market, New Delhi, on 13.10.2024. Within 24 hours, the girl was located in Tundla, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, and three individuals involved in the kidnapping were apprehended. Additionally, two other children – a five to six-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl – were also recovered from the possession of the kidnappers.
 
INCIDENT AND TEAM:
 
          On 13.10.2024, information was received at Police Station Mandir Marg regarding missing of a two-months-old girl from Gole Market, Bangla Sahib Road. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 113/2024, dated 13.10.2024, under section 137(2) BNS was registered at Police Station Mandir Marg and investigation was taken up.
 
            In view of the sensitivity of the case, a dedicated team led by Inspr. Amit Kumar Tiwari, SHO/Mandir Marg and comprising of SI Kevendra, SI Rajni, ASI Chanderhas, HC Makhan Lal, HC Rahees Khan & W/Ct. Sonam was constituted under close supervision of Sh. Anil Samota, ACP/Connaught Place.
 
INVESTIGATION AND ARREST:
 
              During the course of investigation, the team obtained and analysed footage of CCTV cameras installed at and around the place of incident. They managed to identify a lady walking away from the place of incident with a small child. Thereafter, footages of more than 100 CCTV cameras were analysed to trace the route taken by the lady. One male person was seen to have joined the lady enroute and they went near Shivaji Bridge Railway Station, after which they went out visibility of CCTV cameras.
 
              On the basis of the available footage of the suspects, local sources were deployed to obtain clues. Through a combination of technical surveillance and local intelligence, the male suspect was captured near Shivaji Bridge Railway Station. Identified as Rudhir, a deaf and mute individual living at Hanuman Mandir, Connaught Place, he provided minimal information. Based on this limited data, the team conducted raids in various jhuggi clusters near Ghaziabad Railway Station. Their efforts led to the arrest of a woman named Anita Devi @ Neetu. Additionally, two children – a five to six-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl – were found in her possession under suspicious circumstances.
 
           On sustained interrogation, she confessed her involvement in the kidnapping of two-months-old girl and further disclosed that she had handed over the kidnapped girl child to her husband Deepak Satsangi who had boarded a train to Tundla, Uttar Pradesh with the kidnapped girl. The couple had intended to sell the kidnapped girl.
 
            The team acted swiftly and departed to Tundla, Uttar Pradesh. Utilizing technical surveillance, the team managed to apprehend Deepak Satsangi at Tundla Railway Station as he was trying to escape. The kidnapped girl child was recovered from his possession. It was discovered that Deepak Satsangi is also deaf and mute.
 
            Anita Devi @ Neetu has not yet provided any satisfactory reply regarding parents of two children recovered from her jhuggi. Ongoing efforts are being made to locate their families and reunite them.
 
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:
 
           1. Anita Devi @ Neetu (34 years), wife of Deepak Satsangi –
The accused is a resident of Tundla, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. She is presently residing in a rented jhuggi at Sunderpuri, near Ghaziabad Railway Junction, Uttar Pradesh. 
           2. Deepak Satsangi, (aged 28 years), son of Karan Singh –
The accused is a resident of Tundla, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh and is presently residing with his wife in a rented jhuggi at Sunderpuri, near Ghaziabad Railway Junction, Uttar Pradesh. 
          3. Rudhir (30 years) – The accused is a vagabond and resides at Footpath, Hanuman Mandir, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
 
RECOVERY:
 
      • Two-months-old girl child (linked to FIR No. 113/2024, dated 
13.10.2024, under section 137(2) BNS, PS Mandir Marg).
      • Two more children found in possession of accused under suspicious circumstances.
