          J.C. Bose University conducted free Mental Awareness Program
With a view to create awareness about health issues, Health Centre of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad in collaboration with B.K. Hospital, Faridabad organized an awareness program on Mental Health. 

           The program was conducted by Dr. Preeti Yadav, Clinical Psychologist and Ms .Sumantra, Psychiatric Nursing Officer from B.K. Hospital, Faridabad. Dr. Preeti delivered the keynote address on the topic "Psychological Impact of Substance Abuse" where she discussed the mental health challenges posed by addiction, including depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendencies.

           Later, a free Health Check-up Camp in collaboration with Metro Multi speciality Hospital, Faridabad was organised by the University Health Centre for the benefit of staff and students. A team of doctors from Metro Multi speciality Hospital including Dr Vandana, Physician and Dr Manthan, Orthopaedics accompanied by their proficient paramedical staff conducted the camp. The Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Tomar appreciated the efforts made by the Health Centre for conducting a health awareness program for the benefit of University students and staff. 

           The program was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. Ankur Sharma, Medical Officer, and coordinated by the staff of the Health Centre. During the camp, doctors provided free consultations to the staff and students. In addition to this, free medical checkups like blood pressure , blood sugar and ECGs were also carried out to create awareness about health-related issues. Over 150 staff and students attended the camp and availed the free  health check-up and were benefitted.
