One Earth, Healthy World – Nationwide Observance of International Yoga Day by the Sant Nirankari Mission

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the Sant Nirankari Mission will be organising a grand and synchronised Yoga Day celebration across more than 1,000 locations in India on Saturday, 21 June 2025 at 6:00 a.m. These events will be conducted in open grounds and public parks under the guidance of local yoga instructors across various Mission branches. Devotees, Sewadal volunteers, and local citizens are expected to participate enthusiastically.

The theme for this year’s United Nations-declared International Yoga Day is “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, which conveys the universal message that true health can only be achieved when a person is physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually balanced and conscious. Embracing this vision, the Sant Nirankari Mission regards yoga as a means for holistic well-being and continues to promote it through its spiritual and social initiatives.

Rev. Joginder Sukhija Ji, Secretary of the Sant Nirankari Mandal, shared that since 2015, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation has been organising this nationwide Yoga Day celebration regularly. This initiative has grown consistently under the divine guidance and blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, whose vision, “A healthy mind ensures a harmonious life,” underscores the belief that the human body is a precious gift from the Almighty. Only by keeping it healthy and strong can one fulfil both spiritual and social responsibilities effectively.

Yoga, one of India’s most ancient disciplines, not only strengthens the body but also calms the mind and awakens the soul. With regular practice, it helps prevent stress, imbalance, and illness, guiding individuals towards inner peace and social harmony.

In today’s fast-paced life, the primary aim of such initiatives is to remind us to prioritise our own health and move towards a more joyful, balanced, and peaceful way of living.
