On Campaign’s Last Day, Tejashwi Turns 36: ‘PM, CM, Ministers, Agencies Join Hands to Stop Me’

As the high-stakes election campaign in Bihar drew to a close, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav marked his 36th birthday on Friday with a sharp attack on the ruling establishment, claiming that the Prime Minister, Chief Minister, several ministers, and government agencies had “joined hands” to stop him and his party.

Addressing a rally on the final day of campaigning, Tejashwi accused the BJP-JD(U) alliance of misusing state machinery to target the Opposition and suppress the voice of the people.

“From the Prime Minister to the Chief Minister — everyone seems to have only one mission: to stop Tejashwi Yadav,” he said. “But the people of Bihar know the truth, and they will give their answer through votes.”

The young RJD leader also used the occasion to connect emotionally with voters, saying he had devoted his youth to the fight for jobs, education, and justice in Bihar. “I don’t celebrate birthdays with cake; I celebrate with people’s love and trust,” he added.

Tejashwi’s fiery statement capped off a heated campaign season marked by fierce exchanges between the RJD and the ruling NDA. The remarks come ahead of polling, where voter turnout and youth participation are expected to play a crucial role in determining the outcome.
