04 accused running online gaming betting arrested.

           Gang running online gaming betting from Dubai arrested in action by local agent crime branch Indore.

           07 mobiles 01 laptop, 02 computers, 01 telephone, WiFi router, calculator, cash and accounts of online betting worth more than 1 crore seized from the possession of the accused.

             The accused were operating online gaming betting through laptop and mobile by creating IDs of customers through online website in a house located in Palasikar Colony.

Crime registered against the accused in Police Station Crime Branch Indore.

           Instructions have been given by senior officials to take effective action against the accused operating online gambling, betting and illegal activities in Indore city. In continuation of the above instructions, continuous action is being taken by the teams of Crime Branch and police stations.

           In the same sequence, the Crime Branch team had received information from an informer that online gaming betting is being operated in a house located in Palasikar Colony in Juni Indore area. Acting on the information of the informer, the crime branch team raided the place mentioned by the informer and caught some persons who were operating online betting through laptops and mobiles. On interrogation, the police team revealed their names as (1). Sunil Rajani resident of Indore, (2). Praveen Rajani resident of Indore, (3). Vicky Jain resident of Ratlam, (4). Bhupendra Chaurasia resident of Indore.

             While interrogating the accused, it was revealed that they had met a person from Dubai and made customers play online betting by creating ID/passwords through the internet in online gaming betting operated through a website, in which the chances of customers winning are almost nil, all the profit goes to the game operators and agents. During interrogation of the accused, it was found that such a network is spread in many cities of the country where such online cheating centers are running.

                07 mobiles, 01 laptop, 02 computers, 01 telephone, WiFi router, calculator, cash and account book of online betting have been seized from the possession of the accused and a crime has been registered against the accused in the Police Station Crime Branch, District Indore and proceedings are being carried out and the accused are being questioned in relation to other accused involved in the crime.
