Spandan-2024: A 4-day festival at Prestige Institute, Gwalior.

Gwalior 21.10.2024: Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior has always been striving for the all-round development of the students and to fulfill this objective, the annual festival of the institute 'Spandan' is being organized every year at the national level for the students in the premises of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior. 'Spandan' is organized by Prestige Management, Gwalior in accordance with its meaning (heartbeat) with the aim of encouraging the students and enhancing their hidden talents. During this festival, the entire atmosphere becomes joyful and invigorating. It is known that this festival is started with 'Theme Day', in which every day the students and professors of the college wear a certain costume. In which costumes based on this Twins Theme, State Representation Theme, School Days Theme etc. were prominent. This year this festival will be organized for 4 days (23.10.2024 to 26.10.2024). Where 4500 participating students will test their skills in different competitions. It is known that more than 800 students from outside Gwalior will participate from various educational institutions of the country.

The program will be organized from 23.10.2024 to 26.10.2024. A total of various competitions will be organized in four days. The program will be concluded with a cultural evening on 26.10.2024. In which various cultural programs will be presented by the students and the main attraction of this cultural evening will be the fashion show (brand ambassador). It is known that this year's cultural evening will be organized on 26.10.2024 at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium of Jiwaji University, Gwalior. This information was given by Dr. Nishant Joshi, Director of Prestige Management Institute, Gwalior and Dr. Tarika Singh, Deputy Director, during the press conference of "Spandan-2024".

The outline of the program and its detailed description are as follows:

Spandan-2024 will be inaugurated on 23.10.2024 with the organization of the inaugural session in the NCH (New Conventional Hall) of the college. The inaugural session will be held at 9:30 am. In which Swami Shri Rishabh Devanand ji and Mr. Nitin Manglik (General Manager M.P.E.B.) and Mr. Abhinav Mishra (Senior Consultant Godrej Consumer Products Gwalior) will be present as the chief guests. The main attraction of this event will be the announcement of the launch of those 18 competitions. Which will be organized in the college in the next four days.

D.J. Night will be organized on 22.10.2024, whose brief description is as follows-

1. D.J. Night - This day will start from 04:00 pm and will continue till about 09:00 pm. A large number of college students have participated in it enthusiastically. Refreshments will be arranged for the students participating in the event by the college. The coordinator of this program is Prof. Ashish Yadav.

On the first day (23.10.2024), mainly 5 competitions will be organized, the brief description of which is as follows:-

1. Kaun Banega Business Tycoon (KBBT, Business Quiz) - This program will be based on a total of 2 rounds, this program will be very interesting and intelligence testing. In the first round, Fastest Finger First, questions will be shown on the computer screen, which the participants will have to arrange in ascending or descending order. The participant selected from these will enter the next round. In the second round, the participant will have to face 1 to 15 questions. The participant will have to answer question no. The first stage is at question no. 5, the second stage is at question no. 8 and the third stage is at question no. 15 crossing 100 and 2000 respectively and the final stage is at question no. 15 with a prize point of 5000. Its coordinator is Dr. Nishchay Kumar Upmanyu.

2. Human Snakes Ladders - Join us to have fun together, on Tuesday 23rd October 2024 in an interesting event called ‘Human Snakes and Ladders’. In this event, students will play a fun game of snakes and ladders which will refresh the childhood memories. The main attraction of this event is a huge 30×30 feet playing area and big 14×14 inch dice. The contestants will form teams of two, in which the first member will throw the dice while the second member will walk and navigate the playing area. The coordinator of this program will be Prof. Nidhi Jain.

3. Dance-Dance: Feel the Beat - Internal and external students are participating in this competition. 88 participants will take part in it. This competition will be completed in 2 rounds. The first round will be screening round and the second round will be final round. One can participate in this program individually and in groups. The coordinator of this program will be Prof. Isha Gole.

4. Virtual Trading - 400 participants will participate in this competition. This competition will be held in 2 rounds. The first round will be screening round and the second round will be final round. The coordinator of this program will be Prof. Priyanka Chawla.

5. Law Quiz - A single participant will participate in this competition. In which the participants will be asked questions on various subjects in three different rounds, the coordinator of which is Prof. Abil Hussain.

Second day (24.10.2026) :- There will be mainly 6 events, the brief description of which is as follows:-

Best Manager Competition - The Best Manager Competition is an interesting event in this program. The main objective of this program is to develop management skills in the participants. Through this program, the ability of the participants to take organizational decisions will be evaluated. Apart from this, this event will also shed light on entrepreneurship development. The coordinator of this program is Prof. Pratiksha Saxena.

2. Zaika Fireless Cooking - This program is for the participants interested in cooking, in this you can prepare the dish according to your mind but without using fire, in this 2 people will work in a team. The coordinator of this program is Dr. Priyanka Chawla.

3. Sur-Sangam - Interest in music is mainly found in girl students, whether it is listening to music or singing, it attracts the students a lot, keeping this in mind, the institute is organizing solo and group singing competition. This competition will be held in 3 rounds in which in the first round the participant will sing a song of his choice. The second round will be based on chits. More than 45 participants will participate in this, whose coordinator is Dr. Amrita Bhadoria.

4. IT Quiz - There will be a total of 3 rounds in this program. The first round will be the screening round in which the participants will be asked 50 multiple choice questions, all questions will be based on Information Technology. The second round will be based on 30 multiple choice questions. The third and final round will be based on multiple choice questions. The coordinator of this program is Prof. Palash Sharma.

5. Yoga Competition - Around 55 participants from national and local will participate in this program. During the competition, the winners will be selected by looking at balance, posture, flexibility. The coordinator of this program is Deepanka Rathore.

6. Gaming Warrior - Almost the same participants will participate in this program who are interested in gaming, its coordinator is Prof. Jitendra Singh.

Third day (25.10.2024):- Mainly 5 competitions will be organized, the brief description of which is as follows:-

1. Just-a-Minute - This program is a time based program in which 200 participants are participating. Both Prestige and outsiders will participate in it. In this program, each participant will be given 1 minute and the game has to be completed in this time. There will be two rounds in this program. The coordinator of this program is Prof. Gaurav Sain.

2. Gaming Warrior - In this competition, the participants will participate in a team of two people. It has 2 rounds, first there will be a screening round, second will be the final round.

3. Antakshari - This competition will be held in three rounds, in which the participant will have to come in a team of two members. The first round will be played on the lines of normal Antakshari, while in the second round the participants will have to identify the tune and different clues will be given to sing the song. The third round will be the Actor Actress Pair Round. Its coordinator will be Dr. Mamta Sharma.

4. Ankahe Alfaz (Open Mic) - This competition will provide a platform to those artists who look at every issue and topic present in the society from a different perspective, who touch the heart through words and have a new thinking. Its coordinator is Prof. Ajay Jain.

5. Line Sketching - The main objective of this competition is to show that art is a part of life and in childhood we live it very eagerly but forget it with increasing age, so to change this thinking, this is our program in which a total of more than 51 participants will participate, its coordinator is Prof. Suraj Singh.

Fourth day (26.04.2024) :-

The cultural evening will be organized on 26.10.2024 at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium of Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

Dr. Coordinator of "Spandan 2024". Giving detailed information about this 4-day annual festival "Spandan 2024", Sneha Rajput said that students from many prestigious institutions of Gwalior and outside are coming to participate in this festival. Whose food and lodging arrangements have been made by Prestige Institute, Gwalior.

Coordinator of the cultural evening of "Spandan 2024", Dr. Kavita Rana told in the press conference that a cultural evening will be organized from 4 pm on the last day of the program. Spandan's co-coordinator Dr. Abhay Dubey, while giving detailed information about this 4-day annual festival "Spandan 2024", said that more than 4500 participants have been registered in the various competitions to be held in this annual festival.

This includes 800 participants from outside Gwalior, 700 participants from Gwalior division and 3000 participants from Prestige Management and Research Institute, City. Also, consent for spot registration has been obtained from the participants.

7. A total of 3000 participants from Gwalior city will participate in all the programs.
8. There will be more than 800 participants from outside Gwalior.
9. Participants from more than 700 colleges and schools of Gwalior division will participate.
10. All the participants will get a participation certificate.
11. The event will be organised completely by the students, teachers will only act as guides.
12. Facility for on-the-spot registration is also available.
13. In view of the large number of participants, food and beverage stalls will be set up by the famous restaurants of the city in the college campus.
