Thieves Attempt Train Robbery by Signal Failure Near Vadgaon

While going from Parli to Parbhani, the Kakinada to Shirdi Express train broke down at the signal wire near Vadgaon station at 1:30 pm on Sunday. Railway police said that there was no complaint of theft from the passengers as the theft attempt failed as they were security force personnel. In 20 days in October, there were three incidents of robbery of the express train at night. The problem of the safety of the railway passengers has arisen. The police have faced the challenge of catching the thieves.

Kakinada to Shirdi express train was leaving from Parli railway station to Parbhani at 1 am. Meanwhile, between Gangakhed and Vadgaon stations in the Sonpeth area, unknown thieves broke the signal wire and caused a technical failure in the signal. Meanwhile, Kakinada to Shirdi express train no. 17206 The train stopped near the signal. This time the thief tried to rob the passengers on the train. However, the Railway Security Force personnel who patrolled the train foiled the robbery attempt. The thief fled from there seeing the Railway Security Force personnel. After that, the train reached Vadgaon station after temporarily fixing the signal. From here the Kakinada to Shirdi train left from Gangakhed railway station towards Parbhani.

The police said that the passenger did not file any complaint of theft. This shows that the theft attempt failed. Three incidents of train robbery in twenty days
On 2nd October, Wednesday at 1:30 pm, the Nagpur to Kolhapur railway signal failed near Wadgaon station, as soon as the train stopped near the signal, four women passengers were robbed of 23 grams of gold jewellery. Also, between Gangakhed and Parbhani, on October 5 at 2 pm, an attempt at theft took place when the home signal near Nrisinh Pokharni railway station failed and stopped near the railway signal. Such an attempt was made near Vadgaon station on Sunday. Three incidents have taken place in twenty days.
