Computerized Qurra was drawn at Central Haj Committee Mumbai for Haj pilgrims going on Haj for Haj-2025. Madhya Pradesh Haj Committee's state president Rafat Warsi and Indore District Haj Committee's district president Rashid Sheikh said that 9 thousand 891 Haj pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh were included in the random Qurra for Haj 2025. In which 7 thousand 107 people were selected. Along with this, 2 thousand 784 people have been kept in the waiting list. District president Rashid Sheikh, secretary Haji Aman Memon, vice president Sufi Arif and Hussain Khan said that India has got a quota of 2.25 lakh seats from Saudi Arabia, in which 70 percent seats will be given through Haj Committee and 30 percent to private tour operators.
The live telecast of the computerized Qurra (lottery) done at the Mumbai Haj Committee of India office was also seen on Haj Committees across the country. Along with the Qurra, the Central Haj Committee has also released the schedule for depositing the first installment. Under this, Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand 300 will have to be deposited as the first installment advance from October 8 to October 21. After this, the schedule for the second installment will be released.
