In a significant boost to healthcare capabilities, three sets of video bronchoscopes were donated to Safdarjung Hospital's Anaesthesia Department through a collaborative CSR initiative. The donation was facilitated by the Inner Wheel Club of Delhi Mid Town, led by President Kiran Memani, in partnership with Autometers Energitec Ltd and the Niranjan Swaroop Manju Mittal Charitable and Welfare Trust.
The equipment was jointly inaugurated by Kiran Memani, Manju Mittal, and Dr. Vandana Talwar, Medical Superintendent of Safdarjung Hospital. These state-of-the-art video bronchoscopes will be instrumental in handling difficult intubation cases and are particularly valuable in intensive care settings.
Dr. Vandana Talwar emphasized the significance of the donation, stating, "These video bronchoscopes represent a crucial addition to our medical arsenal. They will greatly enhance our capability to perform complex intubation procedures, ultimately improving patient care in critical situations."
Kiran Memani, President of Inner Wheel Club of Delhi Mid Town, expressed her satisfaction with the initiative: "We are proud to facilitate this donation that will make a real difference in patient care. The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including all Additional Medical Superintendents, members of IWC and doctors from the Anaesthesia Department.
