Collector Mrs. Chauhan inspected the effigy burning sites of Ravana and Meghnath.

Instructions given to make foolproof security arrangements.

Gwalior 11 October 2024/On the occasion of Vijay Dashami festival in the city, the places designated for burning effigies of Ravana and Meghnath were inspected by Collector Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan on Friday evening. During this, she emphasized on giving priority to security.

The Collector directed that there should be adequate barricading between the spectators and the burning sites. People should be kept at a distance from the effigy burning site, so that there is no possibility of any kind of accident. He also asked for the arrangement of fire extinguishing equipment including fire brigade and deployment of security force.

The Collector directed all the concerned officials that no negligence should be done in the security arrangements, so that Vijay Dashami festival can be celebrated with pomp.

During the inspection, Additional Collector Mrs. Anju Arun Kumar and Mr. TN Singh along with other concerned officers were present.
