Katha Vachak Mahant Mangaleshwardas Bairagi merged into Panchtatva, mourning in the area on hearing the news of Bairagi's death

Jhakanavada Lord Shri Krishna's great devotee and Bhagwat lover Katha Vachak Shri Mahant Mangaleshwardas Bairagi died during treatment due to prolonged illness.

Shri Bairagi was always engrossed in religious texts like Bhagwat Katha, Maha Purana, Nani Bai Ro Myro, Sundarkand, Shri Ram Charitra Manas. And he was of cheerful nature and simple nature. With his sweet voice, he had gained fame in Madhya Pradesh as well as Gujarat, Rajasthan for Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. On hearing the news of Shri Bairagi's death, a wave of mourning ran in the city and surrounding areas.

Bairagi's last rites were performed at Shringeshwar Dham on the banks of Mahi river.

A large number of people from Rajasthan and Gujarat joined the last journey to pay tribute.
