Gulshan Paruthi - Gwalior
Union Communications and North Eastern Region Development Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has written a letter to the Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government and Public Health and Medical Education Minister Rajendra Shukla regarding the shortage of doctors in the 30-bed civil hospital located in the city's Deendayal Nagar Colony and has asked to post doctors in the hospital. Regarding the above problem, Dinesh Sharma, a resident of Deendayal Nagar and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party's district working committee, had handed over a demand letter to Union Minister Scindia and said that there are eight posts of doctors in the 30-bed civil hospital of Deendayal Nagar and currently four doctors are posted in this hospital as per the records, but the District Medical Officer has attached three of those four doctors to other places, as a result of which this 30-bed hospital is now running on the strength of just one doctor.
Sharma says that the hospital with an OPD of 150 to 200 patients every day is facing inconvenience due to the indifferent attitude of the District Medical Officer. Sharma said that thousands of people of the area take medical benefits in this hospital which provides medical facilities.
