Indore - On 18.05.2024, complainant Rohit's father Nagaraj Yadavvanshi resident at Police Station Lasudiya. Panchvati Colony Indore had come to the police station and reported that he runs an agency named 'Go with Car' and rents out vehicles. He had rented Mahindra Thar and Swift cars from his own agency to Pratik Chaudhary resident of Itarsi, on which after paying the rent for some time, Pratik stopped paying the rent and sold both the cars to someone else. Crime number 982/2024 section 406 IPC was registered at Lasudiya police station on the basis of the above report.
Similarly, Pratik Chaudhary had taken Fortuner car, Baleno car and Ford Endeavour car from Puruchi Kushwaha, director of Bageshwar car rental agency and Toyota Glanza car and Mahindra Thar from Ayush Agarwal on loan and sold them. The personal complaint letter was also included in the crime registered in Lasudiya. In these cases of theft by taking the association on rent and doing fraud in them, under the direction of senior officers, police approval was given by Zone-02 Shri Abhinav Prototype and Additional Police Zone-02 Shri Amarendra Singh, Assistant Police Commissioner Vijay Nagar Shri Krishnalal Chandani, directed a special team to take action in a planned manner by organizing a musical program. On which, the music team under the leadership of Assistant Police Commissioner Vijay Nagar conducted research in the case and on the basis of investigation, the main accused of the case, Prateek Chaudhary resident of Itarsi and Vishwanath Bhavarkar resident of Parasia Chhindwara were questioned in Rajsi, the fourth one admitted to committing the crime.
The accused told during interrogation that they used to take luxury vehicles on rent from rental car agency and after preparing their forged documents, they used to sell those vehicles. While taking the vehicles on rent, they had told the operators of the car rental agency that coal mines are coming up in Chhindwara for which vehicles are needed, on this basis the vehicles were taken on rent by them. The partner of the arrested accused in the case and the mastermind of the incident, Raja Dahriya resident of village Gandhiwada, police station Parasia, district Chhindwara, used to prepare forged documents of vehicles and forged Aadhar card and PAN card of the vehicle owner and give them to the vehicle buyers. He is absconding at present. Cases under sections 420, 406, 467, 468 IPC have been registered against him in police station Junnardev and police station Labhaghuguri of district Chhindwara in similar cases of vehicle and tractor theft in which also the accused are absconding. The accused had sold the said vehicles in Nagpur (Maharashtra), Chhindwara, Jabalpur and kept the Glanza and Swift cars for their own use. The above seven vehicles have been seized from the accused.
