Uttila police station took action against the miscreant who was showing extortion.

  • Uttila police arrested a miscreant carrying illegal weapons near Bhadavana with illegal weapons and live rounds.
  • The miscreant was threatening children at Bhadavana waterfall, ran away into the fields on seeing the police.
  • The miscreant hid in the sorghum field, after 2 hours of hard work, the police recovered a pistol, a dhiya and two live rounds.
  • The accused wanted to become a policeman but was caught by the police due to his arrogance.

On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Rakesh Kumar Sagar, IPS, Gwalior Police is taking effective action in the district against those who buy and keep illegal weapons and habitual criminals. During the said action today on 29.05.2024, Uttila police station received information through an informer that some boys have come to Bhadavana waterfall, out of which one boy has a pistol and he is showing arrogance. Senior police officers were informed about the information. On which Additional Superintendent of Police City (East/Traffic/Crime) Shri Shiaz.K.M, IPS directed Uttila Police Station to verify the informer's information and take immediate action.

As per the instructions of senior officers, under the able guidance of SDOP Behat Shri Santosh Kumar Patel, the police team of police station force under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Uttila Shivam Rajawat reached the place Bhadavna told by the informer, then on seeing the police team, a boy started running towards the fields. When the police team chased him, he entered the field of jowar and hid. The police team searched and caught the said suspect and when he was questioned about the illegal weapon, he tried to mislead the police team and hid the illegal weapon earlier. When the police interrogated him thoroughly and asked his name and address, he told his name as Satyam Sharma father Ramrup Sharma age-20 years resident-Bandha Police Station Uttila. The suspect boy had hidden an illegal pistol and a weapon with two live cartridges in the soil of a sorghum field. The police recovered them on the information given by the arrested boy.

Seeing the accused running after the police, the police talked to him and he told that he wants to become a policeman and is also preparing for the police. Earlier also, a crime was registered against the accused for threatening by firing in the air. The desire to become a policeman remained unfulfilled before he was handcuffed by the police. A case under Arms Act was registered against the accused caught by the Uttila police station and investigation was taken up and he is being questioned in relation to the illegal weapons.

  • Arrested accused: Satyam Sharma, father Ramrup Sharma, age-20 years, resident of Bandha police station Uttila.
  • Seized weapons: One pistol 315 bore and one weapon with two cartridges.

Commendable role: In the above action, police station in-charge Uttila Shivam Rajawat, PR Omprakash, Pramod, Jitendra, Sunil, constable Mukesh, Anil, Rajiv, Jairam, Kashveer played a commendable role.
